At what age can a youth be emancipated?

There is no set age. Technically, everyone at any age is emancipated until someone can show they are not, for example by showing how he or she is supporting the allegedly emancipated person. If on the other hand, the putative emancipated person can show he or she is supporting him/herself without help from anyone else, then that person is emancipated, regardless of his/her age. The issue is support, or lack of it, not age.
