Legal Question in Family Law in Colorado

I have a friend who was married at sea off the coast of Florida .. She has since split with her ex.. And is wondering how to go about getting divorced and making sure that the marriage was even binding?

If she signed a marriage license then it was probably binding. If not, then there may be a question and she may want to discuss the matter with a Florida attorney.

If she is married, then she will need to file for divorce. She can file in Colorado if she has resided in the state for at least 90 days.
