Legal Question in Family Law in Colorado

My husband moved out while I was at work---I was stuck with the rest of the lease--I applied to legal aide & qualified--but, they are too busy---I can't afford a lawyer---now they are telling me I am responsible for any debts he is incurring until I get divorced-----can I put a notice in the legal ads of the paper & date it back to the date he left me---?

you should definitely file a case and get a lawyer. it can prevent exactly what you are dealing with now, and possibly require him to pay a portion of the lease or maintenance.

It sounds like you may need to get an attorney involved. If you want our office to help with your case - we have the ability to set you up with a payment plan up to 12 months or to finance your legal fees to help you out.
