Legal Question in Family Law in Colorado
Lawyer ethics
I am in the process of a divorce. I specifically made it clear that I do NOT want my x to have my physical address due to harrassment. His lawyer ignored this request by doing a SEARCH for my physical address by some means and placing it in the temporary orders she filed with the court. This address was NOT on the copy that I proof read prior to her filing it with the court. Is this legal? Ethical? Is there any action I can take?

If you do not have an order protecting you against giving your address, then his attorney didn't do anything wrong. If he is harassing you, you need to file a request for a protective order.
