Legal Question in Family Law in Colorado
I have been married to the same man for 30 years. I was a stay at home for most of the years. I did manage to get my degree but unfortunately I was diagnosed with Parkinson's which made it difficult to work. My question is, can my husband drop me from his health insurance if I start the divorce process?

No, he cannot drop you after you file for divorce. Insurance coverage should run until the divorce decree enters. However, once you are divorced, you will be dropped by most insurance carriers. This is one of the rare cases where legal separation may have some benefits. It would be a good idea for you to work with an attorney.
