Moving out of state

My son's ex wife wants to move out of state with his daughter. His daughter has lived here for 13 years and now she wants to move without his consent. Is this legal?

Re: Moving out of state

That is not a question that can be answered without a lot more information. In particular, it depends on the Orders from the divorce or custody proceedings. Sometimes, one parent is awarded the right to move out of state without the other's consent or having to come back to the Court. Usually, the parent who is trying to move out of state with the child has to get permission from the Court if the other parent does not agree.
