Power of attorney to add my name to properties in Colorado

My parents want to add my name to all of their property in Colorado I reside in Alabama, which state do I need the power of attorney from and would a general power of attorney be the correct one?

from the wording of your question, i do not understand why you need a p/a. your parents can add you to their property by a deed prepared by an attorney in co without your participation. however a special p/a is probably the best vehicle to use if it is necessary and the p/a must comply with co law. call me for further discussion 205-879-9595
