Legal Question in Family Law in Colorado

Un-wed father rights

As an un-wed father, what rights do I have for custody of my un-born child, if attempts to work an amicable agreement with the mother have failed. What action would you suggest on my part, would be necessary to recieve joint or full custody of my son/daughter, after they are born.

Re: Un-wed father rights

Your rights are the same as they would be if you rwere married. You can motion the court for custody. The standard for wither joint or sole custody will be the best interest of the child.
