Legal Question in Family Law in Colorado

My wife and I purchased a rental property and made the down payment on the house with her inheritance money. Both our names are on the title to the house. As i fill out the divorce paperwork, do I list the rental property as a joint asset or just her asset since we put the down payment with her inheritance money?

It's a jont asset since it was purchased during the marriage but she'd have a strong argument that the portion of the equity that came from her inheritance belongs to her, though you'd share equally typically in any increase in value since you purchased it. Hope this helps.
