x is not giving our children savings $ for school as agreed upon seperation

upon agreement of seperation i would walk away from $ acquired through sale of house and my x (common-law wife)would use a a large portion of the $ for our kids future.she has moved in with family and has givin our kids $ to her sisters,mom ,dad, etc .family has history of bankruptcy and has been sued for not paying debts.is there any way i can get my kids $ back? very angry

Thanks for your inquiry. It sounds like a very frustrating situation. To answer your question, I would need additional information from you. For example, I would need to know if a dissolution of marriage action was ever filed. If so, I would also need to know whether you and your ex entered into an agreement which has been adopted by the court as an order. If so, you may have a variety of options available to you.

In the event there has not been a dissolution of marriage action, there may also be other remedies available to you, but that will depend on your circumstances.
