Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Colorado
I paid a contractor in full to do some concrete work at my house. He in turn hired a sub contractor to do the work for him. The sub has now called me telling me he has not been paid by the primary contractor and now needs to put a lien on my house. Can he do this?

Yes he can file a lien if he provided services. You should contact an attorney to exercise your rights and force the contractor to bond around the lien or other options.
