Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Colorado
Can a person sue a business before business hours?
Say a man came into to a coffee shop at 6am, before the store opened at 6:30. When coming in, he slipped on some splilt coffee. Can he sue the business even though they were not yet open for business hours?

Unless he broke in, or committed some other illegal act that brought him into your shop, he can sue. If the business was closed, the door should have been locked; the theory is negligence.
