Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Colorado
Property Damage by a Snowball
I am a minor and I kicked a snowball into the street. It hit a moving vehicle driving by, creating a small dent in the vehicle. What are my legal obligations in this case, and what options do I have?

You don't say how old you are, but I'm guessing you're a teenager. You don't have any legal obligations until you're successfully sued. To be successfully sued, the guy whose car you iced would have to prove that you failed to act with the care of a minor of your age, intelligence, and experience in similar circumstances. Frankly, I think it would be almost impossible to overcome the fact that probably every kid your age is out there kicking snowballs after a storm. I do it myself.
Of course, that all changes if you did it maliciously, meaning you intended to kick the snowball into the car.
I doubt you'll be sued anyway, unless you're the type of kid who frequently finds his picture on the cover of one or more fashion magazines, or has his own TV show. Unless your mom or dad was out there kicking snowballs with you, they can't be sued.
Your options include doing nothing and seeing what, if anything, develops. You might also consider apologizing to the owner of the car, and offering to give one or more free car washes. Three is always a good number.
By the way, that must have been some snowball.
