Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Colorado
Can I sue?
I am wondering if I can sue the companies that use aspartame in their diet sodas? The reason I ask is that, unbeknowst to me, aspartame has been shown to increase feelings of paranoia, anxiety and can lead to bad panic attack, which I have suffered since switching to the diest sodas Coke Zero, Cherry Coke Zero, Diet Dr. Pepper and Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper. I was actually brought to the hospital and went into a catatonic state due to the level of panic and anxiety which in turn has caused tremdous strain on my marriage as my wife now thinks it will happen again even though I have since stopped drinking products that use aspartame.

Re: Can I sue?
Take a number: just Google aspartame lawsuits and you'll find a boatload of 'em. You can climb aboard if you want. You'll have to show a causal connection between your nervous condition and all that diet Coke you swilled. Meanwhile consider the benefits of being a happy fat guy instead of an anxious stringbean, and lay off the diet drinks: they all have some chemical or other that I'm sure is killing you in some way or other.
Good luck, and good growth.
