Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Colorado

Summary Judgement

I have a case in court before a federal judge who seems to be sitting on the case. my attorney states that there is nothing they can do until the judge makes a ruling on one of the issues. I dont feel my attorney is aggressive enough. So my question is 1. can anything be done by my attorney to make the judge move on the issues. 2. what time frame if any does a judge have to act on a summary judgement.

Re: Summary Judgement

1. Absolutely. Your attorney can yell and scream at the judge, maybe even call him or her a few filthy names, and then the judge, cowed beyond belief, will give you the ruling you are hoping for.

2. Apart from "as long as he or she lives and breathes," this is really the kind of question you ought to be asking the attorney you are paying for. I can't help but feel that by answering your question outside your existing attorney-client relationship, I'm taking just that little bit of bread out of the mouths of that attorney's children.
