Legal Question in Immigration Law in Colorado
My 16 year old son has a 7 month old son. The babies mother is from Mexico and does not have papers. Her mother is being deported back to Mexico next week. How can I help my son keep his Son here in the United States. The baby was born here and is a citizen.

If your son's child was born in the U.S., then he's a citizen by birth. The juvenile court (or whichever court in Colorado has jurisdiction over children born out of wedlock) can grant custody to you or another appropriate adult since your son is not yet an adult. Regarding the mother and depending on when she entered the U.S., her age and other factors, she may be able to stay (or temporarily stop) the deportation. She should immediately contact an immigration attorney.
