Dear sr or madam: I'm a us citizen and approx. 8 years ago I brought my wife and kids acros into us. gaining illegal status in the us .During 14 years I haved supported my family financially a 100% . ...How can I fix ther status to the best?.........Thx..

You can petition for your wife and children, but they may have to leave the United States before getting their green cards. Whether or not they will be able to return depends on whether or not they are eligible for a waiver of their unlawful presence. You absolutely should consult an immigration attorney. If your child were born in the US,they are American citizens.

If not, they all have to be brought in legally, or risk deportation.
