Legal Question in Immigration Law in Colorado

FBI name check

I applied for my citizendship N-400 in March 2006 and had my finger prints done in April of 06. I am still waiting for my interview and have inquired numerous times. Each time they open a case and send a standard response that the name check has not been cleared from FBI and reply in 6 months. Anything I can do otherwise to expedite my case?

You should consider to file a suite against USCIS and FBI etc. The mandamus action can be relatively quick remedy in a situation like yours.
