Legal Question in Immigration Law in Colorado
hi my name is getu I just want ask you something which is a girl married someone from outside USA and brought him to USA however she let him stay with her and she started nagging and abused him and he doesn't know where to go because he was new and he never have any body who helped him what he supposed to do. finally after 6 month he borrowed money and he got back to where he came from and he said that she has reported that he got lost. after few month he came back to USA .but he never stay with her he lives with other country fellows and he is working now and he has two years green card.so he is thinking how he is going to get his citizenship he asked her through her friend whenever the time comes to get his citizenship she supposed to sigh with out any problem because she has married him they have legal married certificate. but she said that in order to get his citizenship he has to pay her he doesn't know how much could be. but she said he has to pay her in order to get his citizenship. does he need layer? or is she going with law or out off the law? how is the result do you think? he said he said that he has been suffered in her hand. what law said?

He can't get citizenship until he gets the condition removed on his residence. He needs to be in the U.S. If they are no longer together, he is going to need to file a waiver of joint filing, which might not get approved. He really needs an attorney.
It is against the law to ask for money for an immigration benefit. He should not pay her a dime.
