Re: green card

Your sister can file a visa petition for you, but the current wait is over 12 years for an immigrant visa based upon being the sibling of a US citizen.

If your mother gets her green card before you turn 21 or get married, she can then petition for you as her unmarried son, but the wait may be just as long by then.

Re: green card

If your mother already has her green card she can sponsor you. Your sister can file for your paperwork as well. You may have other options as well to come to the US while your petition is pending. You should speak to an immigration attorney to discuss your options. You may also contact our office to discuss your case in detail.
