Did you already have your permanent greencard or was it conditional? Please give me a call at 1-800-408-5818 so that I can get more information from you. At worst, you may have to wait 4 years as there was a break in your continuous residence.

You can apply right away for your greencard but the 4 year wait would only apply if you want to naturalize to become a U,S, citizen.

Hi,

You have abandoned your earlier green card, and thus all sponsorship paperwork must be filed again with the USCIS including the petition to be signed by your husband, and your adjustment of status application along with employment authorization and other paperwork such as biographic questionnaires, affidavit of support, etc.

Please call our law firm at 212-268-3580 during business hours, or email [email protected] for guidance.
