Legal Question in Immigration Law in Colorado

I-140 and I-485

Iam in H4 visa and my wife in H1 Visa. My wife company is not willing to apply for I-140/I-485 at this time, can we apply in our own? Do we need to get any approve from employer to file this by us? Please advice?

If you are filing EB2 or EB3 then NO, you cannot file without your employer's support.
