Legal Question in Immigration Law in Colorado
imagration
My wife is filipino and had our baby in the Philippines. It has been 2 weeks since her K-1 visa renewal for petition to remove conditons was due.
Should I send the renewl into INS or should I hire an attorney to file new paperwork for her and the baby.
Will this be very expensive and will take a lot of time for an attorney to help get my wife and the baby back to america with her permanent resident card?
Please give contact infromation if your firm could help me with this matter.

Re: imagration
If your wife entered the US on a K-1 visa, you must have married after she arrived. If so, she applies for LPR status, not a K-1 extension. If she has already received LPR status, the I-751 petition to remove conditions should be filed between 21 and 24 months after LPR status was granted.
Your facts are a bit confusing, so I suggest you speak with an attorney. My contact information appears below.
