Legal Question in Immigration Law in Colorado
Immigration
I have a fiance in United Arab Emirates. The K-1 visa says we should have met at least once. But how can he come to the United States for a visit? I can not afford to go there and i am also deathly afraid of airplanes. We do intend on marring either way and have also came across the proxy marriage. If we do this will he at least be able to come here with a K-1 visa? And then get remarried?

Re: Immigration
A fiance visa will not be approved without proof that the couple has physically met at east once. If he can visit you on a tourist visa, or you can meet him somewhere, then you can file a visa petition for him.
Re: Immigration
Generally fiancee visa requires you show you have physically met within the last two years. However, if you can show you cannot travel because of medical or religious related reason, there can be an exception.
