I am trying to move from america to japan. What do I need to do to do that? I got medically retired from the army last year and was wondering if it would stop me from moving also will I lose my medical retirement pay if I move to japan and get citizenship?

This is a question of Japanese Immigration Law, not U.S. Immigration & Nationality Law, so I cannot advise you on this matter. I suggest you contact the U.S. Army regarding your second question & the Japanese Consulate regarding your first question.
