Legal Question in Insurance Law in Colorado
Verbal contract for insurance
My insurance company is claiming that I made a verbal contract for renter's insurance and say I owe them money. I never signed anything because after reviewing the policy I found it not to fit my needs. Can they hold me to an insurance policy based on covnersation?

Re: Verbal contract for insurance
I would say no. I cannot be sure without seeing the documents, but the facts you give do not describe a contract; they describe an offer by the insurance agent that was rejected.
