Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Colorado
Copyright and cake decorating
I have a home based cake decoration business. I make cakes for friends, and now friends of friends. I read that if I made a spiderman cake like the napkin they provided me, I could get in big trouble because of copyright laws. Is this correct? Is there a way to get around it for the small business owner?

If you are in a business then you need to follow the rules.Licensing agreement would be required to use TM or copyrighted material.
