vacation pay

I resigned from my position on Aug 18th and recieed my last pay check, though my earned unused vacation was not addded to that check, I still have not recieved pay for that time, I have contacted the corporate HR and it seems as I am being sent from one person to another, what can I do?

Failure to pay your vacation pay is a violation of Colorado's Wage Claim Act. You must demand your pay in writing within 60 days. If the employer still doesn't pay you, you may sue them in small claims court. Keep a record of your written demand so you can prove to the court that you sent it. Consider sending it certified, return receipt requested.
