Legal Question in Employment Law in Colorado
I was written up for attendance and that immediately improved, then when the write up was about to come off, they fired me, gave no valid reason. five and a half years, can I sue?

I am sorry about the job loss. Unless you have a contract, you are an employee at-will. That means you can quit and they can fire you for any reason or no reason at all. The only exceptions to at-will employment is if you can prove this firing was based on illegal discrimination or violation of public policy.
So, unless you are a member of a protected class (based on age, gender, race, disability) and have some evidence that you were fired because of illegal discrimination, the firing may be totally allowable.
