Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Colorado
I need some advice on cosigning a lease
about three years ago,i cosign a one year lease, on an apartment for a friend,after the lease was over he stay another year or so on a month to month agreement,about 4 months ago he move out,and i got a letter from the apartments wanting me to pay $900.00 that my friend owes them.I don,t see how i am responsible for the money since the one year lease had been over,and i did not sign or agree to anything else

You may or may not owe based on the terms of the lease. Review the terms or provide to an attorney.
