Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Colorado

I entered into a sublease agreement with my roommate and paid her early for the month of September. Well its not going to work out and I no longer desire to live here for the month of September, how do I get my money back from her? She said that the money has been spend.

If you can prove that she wrongfully evicted you or that you gave proper notice that you would be ending your lease at the end of August, you can sue her for September's rent.
