we have been served and have a court date. we have lived here for 2 1/2 years and signed a proms.note and agreed to pay a monthly payment and pay a 5% intrest rate and this agreement is for 44mths.we have put earnest monies up also and agreed to pay a lot rent also. he has filed a force enty and detner. and in turn we filed a responce, what grounds do we have to defend our selves and not loose our equity in this place...?

Eviction

You need to see an attorney. Are you in a rent to own agreement? What is the basis for the eviction?

You need to talk to an attorney especially if you plan to fight this eviction based on contract or other claim. Good luck.
