Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Colorado

we purchased blinds when we moved into our rental house, their were no blinds on main windows. we never deducted them from our rent, thinking we would take them with us when we moved out. now someone is telling us they are considered permanent fixtures, and we can't take them even if we purchsed them and installed them ourselves. please advise.

Generally that is true. Carefully review your lease agreement and I'll bet there is a provision regarding fixtures.
