Renters advice

I am late with my february rent. i pay 475.00 a month. i sent him 200.00 yesterday with note. we talked monday and he was calling my work yelling to get out. i got a 3 day notice. then he called me on tues at work, i called him when i got home and we worked things out and he gave me til 3/9 to get totally caught up on rent. now today he is calling me at work again(after i asked him not to, to call me at home) saying he still had not receive my rent, i have to get out. also i have had no plumbing for over a week and he says he will not fix it until i pay my rent. what should i do? my credit is not good and it is hard to get a place.

Not many good choices. If you move because of the breach of a warranty of habitability (for no plumbing). Unfortunately, if your credit is not good it may be difficult to get a place and they will likely check with this landlord.

I would contact your local office of Colorado Legal Services and see if you qualify for free or reduced legal assistance. Good luck.
