Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Colorado
After being a resident of an apartment complex for the past 5 years, I was evicted and all my possessions were thrown out. I had paid for half of the rent for the month of Sept, received voicemails that this would happen, however, didn't receive them until all possessions dumped on the side of the road outside the complex leaving me nothing but my uniform (AF) on me. I had left a message with the manager that I would be able to pay the remaining balance that morning.

I am sorry for the problems. Were you served a three day notice? Were you served a summons and complaint? Did you answer that summons? Did you appear in court and lose the case? Did you not appear?
The only way you can be legally evicted is if the landlord went through the entire process, including the items I noted above. That process, from start to finish, takes some two or more weeks. So did you go through that process or not?
