sued if paying debt
in colorado can i be sued if i vacated a rental and am attempting to pay 30 day rental period

Your facts are too limited to provide an appropriate response. So, yes they can sue you if they think you breached the agreement. The fact you are attempting to pay does not prevent them from suing. They may also sue for damages and other issues.
In short, it is impossible to provide you an answer to such a vague question. Make any arrangement with the landlord in writing and review your lease.
