Legal Question in Personal Injury in Colorado

tooth injury

My 10yr old sons tooth was damaged by our neighbors son. It will cost us 800.00 plus dollars for a root canal and crown. It seems like it was an accident, but aren't the kids parents liable for the cost of our sons tooth repair?

Not if it was an accident. The statute requires that the juvenile knowingly inflict the injury.
