Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Colorado

colorado foreclosure

I live in Colorado, my house is scheduled to be auctioned on 10/08/08. I know I have 75 days after the sale to reedem my property. More than Likely I will not be able to reedem it. When do I need to move out of the house? Do I need to wait until after the foreclosure sale, or move before, or do I move 75 days after it is sold? Or will I get a notice asking me to vacate the property?

Re: colorado foreclosure

Sorry for the problems.

Unless you move out before, at some point you will get a notice of eviction posted on your property. It will say then when you must leave, which will be very quickly, sometimes as short as a few days. This is much like any other eviction notice.

If you are not out by that time, you and the personal property will be removed. Good luck.
