Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Colorado

New Construction

Recently purchased new home, I felt pressured by sales to sell my other home, therefore I was forced to sell way under value. I feel that builder cost me $50,000 in profit. The profit i received from the sale of my house is now gone. i feel not having those extra $50k I had planned on having, is causing me great hardship. Currently I'm not employed since I moved out of state and my reserves are now down to $4k which will only help me conver one month for my mortgage, utility bills and food for my 3 children for one more month. What can I do--name removed--Would an attorney take my case? there other issues aswell. Please help.

Re: New Construction

Your question does not really make sense. Who pressured you? The builder? Pressured how?

Either a person can afford a home and can pay and wait out a downturn or they can't. The builder is not liable for market issues or your finances.

You don't have any facts that indicate any liability or any case. Sorry for your problems, but unless you have more relevant facts or some contract that was breached, I don't see that you have a case for going after the builder or seller. Good luck.
