Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Colorado

First hour consultation

I need to hire a lawyer for a real estate matter and wonder if it is proper to ask for a free initial consultation? I want to talk face to face to see if we are going to be a good fit and that they have the experience and knowledge to help me.

Is that normal and fair or unusual?
