Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Colorado

My husband died recently. Our home is held as joint tenants and both of our names are on the mortgage. Is there an obligation upon me to disclose his death to tje mortgage company? I'm afraid that they will make me refinance and the interest rate os much higher now.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your husband.

I've never heard of a provision in a mortgage requiring the lender to be notified when one of two co-borrowers dies. Just keep making the payments and everything will be fine.
