Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Colorado

Interrogatories, What does it mean?

I was served a paper by an old landlord today. It says ''Interrogatories''. First of all do I have to answer all these questions? They are none of his business. Secondly, do I need an attorney to fight this man? He is wanting to fix up an old house at our expence. Help me please.

Re: Interrogatories, What does it mean?

If the old landlord has not served you with a Complaint (filed a lawsuit)

or obtained a judgment against you, you may be able to ignore his "Interrogatory."

Was the form sent to you by a court with notice of penalty if you fail to respond?

If yes to any of these questions, you should consider hiring an attorney to represent you.
