Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Colorado
Is my lease voidable
I entered a 3 year lease. Rent paid to property management. I told management I was interested in buying. They lead me to believe the owner was willing to work with me. Management aquired property by quit claim and are still leading me to believe the owner will work with me. They have yet to inform me they are the new owners. What can I do? Have they broken the law?

Re: Is my lease voidable
Afternoon:
If you wanted a rent to own transaction, you should have requested that and executed those documents concurrent with the lease. If all you have is the lease and some vague "oral" agreement (oral is the correct term because all agreements are verbal, whether written or not), you have a poor to nonexistent basis to try to get out of this lease.
As always, you need to talk to an attorney to review the lease and all facts.
