Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Colorado

LLP real estate agreement

My brother and I were both stated on an LLP real estate contract as joint partners to be considered 1 partner out of 18. Only I signed the contract and not my brother. We are trying to back out of the deal because the price is different for the real estate condo unit than what is stated on the contract.

If both joint partners did not sign and only I did, is the contract still valid? I did not have the power of attorney to sign for my brother.

Thanks. Is there any case law on this subject?

Re: LLP real estate agreement

Contact a Colorado attorney if this deals with a joint venture regarding CO real estate.

The LLP agreement should state the respective agency powers of the partners and limited partners so the answer depends on the terms of the agreement and if the partner is limited or general.

Contact an attorney to review the matters. This is not something you want to be doing DIY.
