The answer is entirely too complex and depends on a whole range of issues and facts that you did not provide.
You first need to be certain that you have a right to file a mechanic's lien. It is generally limited to contractors, subcontractors and other specified parties who improved real estate.
Assuming you can file a lien, then you must make sure it was filed in the appropriate time periods and the manner of drafting and serving must be followed to the letter.
