Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Colorado

Mortgage Scam

In Oct. 2006, my Mother who is 80, w/very limited funding, whom I live with, re-financed her home. Through a third party in Ohio. At the time she was legally blind. A representative from her mortgage co. went to help her. She unkowingly signed a warranty deed. We just found out 1/15/08. We live in Colorado. Is there any recourse or will we just lose the house? She had it mortgaged for $210,000. He listed the sale price @ $437,000.

Re: Mortgage Scam

You need to contact an attorney and the regulatory authorities immediately. You are saying she just provided them a clear warranty deed for this loan?

You need to get counsel immediately and proceed to enjoin this sale (if you are saying the "He" is this lender) and file to resolve correct legal title.
