Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Colorado
For the past 5 years I am making all the payments on a property that I am a comortgager on. The property is held under a joint tenancy and I wanted to refinance to get a lower payment but the comortgager won't sign off on the loan or a quit claim deed. I don't want to lose the property what are my options ?
I heard of something called a partition ?

Yes, you may be able to file a partition action to get the court to set the rights of the respective owners. Speak with an attorney on the process.
