Can an individual file a Summons/Complaint for a Mechanics Lien Foreclosure without an attorney (pro sec)sp??

There is no legal requirement that a mechanic's lien claimant retain an attorney to file the foreclosure summons & Complaint.
However, that Complaint cannot be filed in Small Claims Court even if the amount is small.

Foreclosure of a mechanics lien is a complicated lawsuit. It is therefore possible but inadviseable for you to represent yourself.
I am not a litigator. Therefore, if payment is not made to my client after I have prepared and served the Notice of Intent to File Lien, I advise my clients to hire a trial attorney.
