property owner rights

What rights does the property owner against liens? We have bids for work on our home and after completion of the work the subs came back and said we owed them more money. They filed liens against us even though we paid them what their bid called for. What can we do?

Sorry about the problems. You need to file suit against the general contractor and closely review the lien filings for timing, content and amount. Contact an attorney.
