Sexual Molestion and writing in fiction
Should I just change my name. I am survivor of sexual abuse and wrote a story about my life but changed the names. Could I be found liable is I change the names?
Should this story be fiction?

You are not liable for defamation if your story is truthful, even if you also used the actual names. However, if you don't care whether people know the actual names, changing the names and/or labeling your story as "fiction" further help to protect you from a suit for defamation.
